...Get back into the barrel and roll myself into the water. Get Evangeline to grab a pole or something to fish me out if I am about to drown, but I think I can hold my breath long enough. What's my drowning risk here? How watertight is the barrel?
When I get out, I'll crush down some of those red rocks and apply it to my skin liberally. Do I become the same red as Bud? Dip my hand in water, does it come off?
Can you pass from the Train Platform north to the Plot by hugging the western cliff face, and remain unseen by someone near the Water Tower Ruins?
Check that with hugging the cliff, and with climbing along the cliff and hugging rocks... just to be safe.
Oh! Also... d-does the barrel Bud was in have any other smells besides water? Can we tell...? I was thinking... m-maybe there was alcohol in it...

People seem to think Akira's clear based on her tower job, but I dunno about that myself. Don't wanna get stuck on the same old "time delay" roadblock as last time, so I'm gonna try a thing real quick.
I wanna put some random body - not Bud, he deserves better - into the barrel and dump it in the canal at the furthest Northwest point. The source. Can I make it through the Stable and Saloon to the Water Tower and start cleaning up rubble before the barrel floats by?

Doctor, I have no illusions to dispel about the reality of war. Casualties abound. Even civilians. Even those who have already lived it. But this... This isn't war, is it. War implies a turning of the tides, or at the very least something other than repeating the same sort of day over and over. It makes me wonder just what, exactly, I'm doing here; why I've heard no communication from you at all. Even if I am trapped in another dream, what sort of things would that person would have to have gone through to dream of this? It's not...

I'm being childish, and this won't get us anywhere closer to solving this crime. Let me begin.
I left my room and proceeded to Explosive Storage to do a survey of available equipment. Cowboy Hat joined me soon after. It seemed pretty well picked over, Doctor. Maybe Operator W is onto something. Regardless, I didn't find much interesting -- and explosives aren't my weapon of choice, you know that -- so I exited soon afterwards onto Main Street. I heard a loud train whistle and saw Pork Pie Hat coming down the East Street.
I proceeded to the Purple Building and headed downstairs to the Storeroom and attempted to procure a weapon to protect myself. It had yet to be blown up... Bonnet came from the east with Skeletons, and Fedora came from the south; both headed up the ladder. I did manage to arm myself, too, in case you were worried about that; then I headed south into Yellow Basement. As I left, I heard a strange glopping sound...?
I looked around the Generator Room first. You could cause a lot of problems down there if you were mean... Passing through the Server Room, Sombrero was there drinking the server coolant. Why? Who can say. My real destination was the Cold Storage, and I found quite a few documents in relation to the Crimson Eye's investigation. Most worryingly is probably that Spencer Edwards was never found dead... I will present everything shortly, though.

Top Hat entered as I made my way out. Sombrero was still eyeing the Server Room, contemplating another snack. I stepped into the Maintenance Office to collect further information, but they didn't have anything useful, just a few actual logs. Oh well, they can't all be winners. Knowing this basement was connected to my domicile, I headed out that way.
A quick visit to the barracks in an attempt to maybe find a diary also turned up nothing, except for Panama Hat entering too. Perhaps they were luckier. I climbed up the Mineshaft from here and went to sleep.

Not long after the enchanting FEDORA swept into the scene, and we plunged into the thrilling descent to the depths of the basement below. Down in the dark, like a twist of fate, we crossed paths with a dapper figure clad in a BOWLER HAT ascending .
Later two wild spirits, donning a 'COWBOY HAT' and 'BASEBALL CAP' descend to join us.

I wander towards the vibrant orange building where 'FEZ' crafts wonders in the realm of wood and nails. A heartstrings tugging symphony of despair... another dream crumbled to dust!

In the shadowed corners of my heart, I wander to the forge, molding metal into a testament for my kin—a fleeting connection in this untamed panorama, where we both roam as wild cats. With a soul heavy as lead, I journey to the Graveyard planting my humble tribute where the dust of where Lasagna Cats memories breathes. As I stand in this sacred silence, my gaze falls upon a weathered barrel at the canal's edge...

As the final act unfolds, I stroll towards the hallowed Stable. As i walk i notice the cart has vanished like a wisp of smoke. I set forth on a quest, a hunter of shadows, tracking a nimble mouse. I catch one and as I walk home I noticed glimpses of strange flames dance in the Carpentry area, but I'm just a humble feline, drawn into the embrace of the dormitory.
I present my tribute, a mouse, to the Jessica, hoping our cat souls might harmonize in friendship's sweet tune. With a heart full of rhythm, I surrender to the night.
Is there anything that looks like it could hace made a glopping noise in any of the Purple Basement rooms, or anything strange scattered around in general?
Are there pickles on the floor of the General Store, or fallen into the Storeroom?
Does it seem like some of the barrels would have had pickles in them, or other veggies...?

The Crimson Eye here had regularly tried to deduce what exactly was in the information redacted by the government, and while they hadn't found out the details, they had confirmed two major points of interest. First, the Union had successfully disrupted the Third Ritual - Whatever happened there meant that Atua's ultimate goal had failed, that time.
Secondly, Spencer Edwards was never found, alive or dead. Though all other members of the Cult of Atua present at Silver Junction were confirmed killed, Spencer himself just disappears entirely from the record.
You also find that the Crimson Eye operatives were growing suspicious of Deathborn, and were planning to call in their bosses to handle it. Seems like they weren't fast enough.

Hmm... you ever wake up feeling like you've pissed off some higher power...? Not Atua, not in this case, just someone or something else. Ah well, just my imagination.
I make my way to Carpentry first thing, noticing a Panama hat by the Yellow building as I walk into Carpentry. Time to be a helpful and dutiful Carpenter-Pet Detective. My time in Carpentry revealed the following in terms of traffic:
Someone in a Cowboy Hat came in from the dorms, grabbed some supplies that I couldn't fully make out, then headed into the blacksmith. Then, Panama Hat comes in from the west, goes upstairs, then after that comes back downstairs and leaves the way they came. Suddenly I hear a train whistle scream out, then Pork Pie Hat enters from the western entrance before going to the blacksmith. Russian Hat comes after that from the west, goes to the dorms then returns, and goes to the blacksmith again. Lots of blacksmith traffic. Sun Hat shows up after that to collect some wood then leaves. Then a Fedora... lovely individual... comes in from the dorm, smacks me, then leaves from the west. Bastard. Then I see Sun Hat again doing the same thing before Atua walks in. We have a little chat.. which I'll get into in a moment. After Atua and I have a lovely conversation he leaves to the west and I take that as my cue to move on. As I'm leaving, Sun Hat enters again.
I leave and head toward the Purple building where I see the Beanie hat in a fight with Atua just south of the General Store's south entrance, and it's not going well. I keep my distance as I enter the Purple Building and head up to the Officer's Club where I see Bonnet at the bar. I grab some bottles of alcohol as a treat then head back down on the main street. I check where I saw Beanie fighting Atua and they very clearly didn't win. They're limping slowly away toward the West while Atua and the Panama hat head east. I keep my distance but follow behind Atua and company as I head back toward Carpentry and. Someone. Some FIEND. IN A TRICORNE. IS POSING IN FRONT OF THE CURRENTLY VERY BURNING VERY HOT FLAMES THAT ARE DEMOLISHING CARPENTRY.
My one purpose, trying to be a helpful carpenter, is now the same as my dreams. Burned to nothing but ashes. I went back to my dorm and went to bed, crushed.

Well, Nico is going to kill the third-rate idol now since Honoka is dead~✰ So Nico observed Prickly Pear dorm from northwest of Yellow. Nico saw Bonnet/Cascabela go North then West.
Then Nico saw the following:

Nico needs to heal her foot still so went to the Doctor's Office and saw Fez/Ace in Carpentry. After, Nico wanted to help burn Atua things but wanted to make sure it was Zalsarona and not fall for a trap so went to watch what happened first before heading to help.
Nico was watching from Purple and saw someone wearing a sack head. A note this wasn't a hat since it was lower case in Nico's results and ran away when they saw Nico

Well that was odd chain of events nico~♪
Nico did see an ugly Beret/Akira, Bowler/Zalsarona, Russian/McJango, and Pork Pie/Ranger loading stuff on a wagon. Whew, that was a relief.
Nico went back downstairs to help but then got distracted! It was Atua vs Beanie/Bud! Bud broke Atua's horn with a lithurgic hammer. Wow, Nico was surprised~✰
But Atua was too strong. Nico saw the god throw Bud in the air and slammed him on the ground with an elbow drop. Oof, that's gotta hurt nico~
Bud wandered away West and Atua went to the Chapel. Nico wanted to know why they were fighting so went and asked Atua in Chapel, and saw Pork Pie/Ranger there too Pork Pie really wanted to fight Atua too but Nico doesn't like violence so left them to battle.

There are pickles all over the Storeroom, in admist all the other broken stuff.
You can see barreled pickles, barreled tomatoes, and barreled onions. All of them are pickled.
