sketches of some wacky critters from last armageddon, an otherwise extremely tedious and unfun pc engine rpg about demons fighting aliens. the first set is from a little over a year ago and the second is from today!

Germuck, the Bacteria Pokemon
Poison
A Pokemon that consists of a colony of single-celled units. Its presence causes terrible illnesses, making it a hot research topic in the medical field.

Flaskontain, the Test Tube Pokemon
Poison/Ice
Exposure to a device designed to contain infectious diseases created this Pokemon. The low temperature of its body keeps the Germuck colony inside dormant.


Floatoad, the Gas Frog Pokemon
Poison/Flying
To defend itself from predators, it fills its throat with toxic gas to make itself appear more imposing, then floats away like a balloon.


Belloblow, the Filter Pokemon
Fire/Poison
It sucks in air to cool down its fiery lungs, then exhales it in a cloud of black smoke. If this continuous rhythm is stopped, it could overheat.


Putrisol, the Acid Rain Pokemon
Poison/Flying
Slime oozes from underneath its flat body as it glides in the air. Beware if you grab an umbrella on a rainy night; it could be a Putrisol trying to trick you.

Garbrella, the Acid Rain Pokemon
Poison/Flying
It waits for prey to seek shelter underneath from the rain, then reels it in with its long tongue. It snaps shut to avoid getting blown away by strong storm winds.


Venowhal, the Sting Whale Pokemon
Ice/Poison
Sluggish on land but very agile underwater, it skewers rivals with its venomous tusk. Its age can be determined by the frequency of battle scars on its body.


Bomburr, the Drill Mine Pokemon
Poison
It is blind, so it revolves on other senses to detect danger. Direct contact causes it to panic, alerting the rest of its group to burrow to safety.

Exrupt, the Drill Mine Pokemon
Poison/Rock
A Pokemon that sleeps underground, with only its back hump exposed. When the trap is activated, its drill-like spines explode off its body like missiles.

Your starter fakemon aren't properly balanced. The grass type has the most advantages while the water type has the least weaknesses with the fire type being the red headed stepchild of the trio. All of the art itself is awesome though.

yeah i was considering retyping water starter to water/psychic or water/rock to nerf it a bit (it's a huge crab that curls up into a ball) or maybe have it be plain water, but i mostly wanna keep it dual-type

anyways finished the crab. i don't really think it conveys the partial psychic typing but it does look like something that could sit still and tank hits so that's good
